PEACHTREE – Sponsored by Clearside Biomedical, Inc.

Active Study | Duration: 24 weeks

PEACHTREE is a multicenter, masked, randomized Phase III clinical trial for the treatment of macular edema associated with non-infectious uveitis. This study evaluates the safety and efficacy of injecting triamcinolone acetonide, a steroid, into the suprachoroidal space. Compared to topical, intravitreal or oral administration, injection of triamcinolone into the suprachoroidal space can potentially deliver an effective medication dose while limiting systemic absorption and reducing the risk of adverse effects. This study is for patients with macular edema associated with non-infectious uveitis.

Patients are treated and followed for 24 weeks.

Enrollment is now closed for this study. Trials are in progress under the direction of Clinical Research Coordinator Maya Talatory (301-656-8100/
