PEACHTREE – Sponsored by Clearside Biomedical, Inc.

Completed Study | Duration: 24 weeks

PEACHTREE was a multicenter, masked, randomized Phase III clinical trial for the treatment of macular edema associated with non-infectious uveitis. This study evaluated the safety and efficacy of injecting triamcinolone acetonide, a steroid, into the suprachoroidal space. Compared to topical, intravitreal or oral administration, injection of triamcinolone into the suprachoroidal space can potentially deliver an effective medication dose while limiting systemic absorption and reducing the risk of adverse effects. This study was for patients with macular edema associated with non-infectious uveitis.

Patients were treated and followed for 24 weeks.
